Mold removal from interiors is a particularly challenging task. However, our mold removal process has consistently yielded outstanding results over the years. This service aims to eliminate the mold and odor that has accumulated in the vehicle, rather than simply covering it with fragrances. While our approach is extensive, it is highly effective. The operation consists of a complete interior detailing, integrating both steam cleaning and shampooing for optimal results, once the mold is removedthe process is followed by one or several ozone treatment sessions within the interior and air vent system to eradicate stubborn mold odors, sanitize surfaces by destroying bacteria, and improve the overall air quality by neutralizing airborne contaminants.
The duration of this service may require at least 2 days; therefore, it is essential for you to bring your vehicle to our facility to ensure that the process is executed properly.
Odor Removal process:
- Conduct a thorough vacuuming of the entire interior, followed by the use of compressed air to dislodge any remaining particles.
- Clean all interior fabrics, including seats, carpets, and floor mats, through scrubbing, steam cleaning, and shampooing.
- Scrub and utilize steam cleaning to clean and sanitize all hard surfaces, such as the dashboard, center console, steering wheel, and door panels.
- Steam clean the headliner.
- Clean all windows to remove any lingering odors.
- Allow the interior to air dry completely.
- Implement an ozone treatment by operating an ozone generator inside the vehicle for a designated duration, which varies based on the severity of the odor.
- Open all windows to ventilate the vehicle thoroughly for at least one hour before re-entering.
- Repeat steps 7 and 8 as necessary until satisfactory results are achieved.
Kindly note that this procedure does not guarantee the total removal of mold and odors, particularly in situations involving extensive mold over many years. We will, however, strive to eliminate as much of the mold and odor as possible. It is important to understand that the removal of mold is not a simpe task. In certain instances, mold may be present within the seat foam or carpet padding. In such cases, there are limited options available. The only viable solution would be to replace specific interior components, such as the seat foam, seat covers, carpet padding, carpet, or headliner.
