Crew size (1 to max of 3) varies depending on the boat. A One-time $45 sailing skill test required for first-time sailboat rental customers per season.

Hobie 16 sailing rental test fee: $75

US Sailing certified instructor verifies a renter's ability to sail a boat class or catamaran on her/his own and gives information on the lay of the land and what to look out for. 30 minutes.

1 student per US Sailing Certified Instructor. Learn the fundamentals on land and on the water. Class is held rain or shine. One-on One 2:1 or 3:1 windsurfing intensive clinic

1.5 hours tour of the Norwalk Islands area. Some of them are nature preserve housing a diversity of birds. Smaller islands abound. Experience sailing in a dinghy in our beautiful setting! Tours and duration are subject to right weather conditions and minimum enrollment. Private group price includes a maximum of 3 participants per boat.

At least 6-8 knots required to hold class. One on one for Private or 2 on one instruction.

Rent a complete beginner rig and life jacket

Learn beginner SUP technique in a relaxed and supportive beautiful setting off Calf Pasture Beach.

Include paddleboard, paddle and lifejacket, 30 minutes of instruction, 30 minutes of independent practice.

Beginner windsurfing skills: rigging, de-rigging, getting onto the board, safety on the water, hypothermia and heat emergencies, general board handling and maneuvering, and leaving and returning to a dock or beach. Theory covered -how a sail works, steering a sailboard, no-go zone, points of sail, sail trim and tuning, wind, weather, tides, currents.
