In our third class together, we will focus on cultivating emotional well-being, which includes these topics: happiness, our core emotional needs, the nature of emotions and how they relate to the doshas, the seven biological responses, conscious communication, and practices and tools for emotional clearing.

In our final class together, we will focus on Ayurvedic daily routines. The topics include the rhythms of nature, creating an optimal daily routines according to your doshas and aligning those routines with the seasons. You will also be guided in the practices of an Ayurvedic lifestyle and what that looks like on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual level.

In our first Ayurveda class, we will set our intentions for the course, discuss the principles of Ayurveda, learn about the multidimensional nature of life, explore our mind-body constitutions (known as doshas), and learn how to interpret the Dosha quiz to understand the body type you have and how to care for it. You are welcome to take notes, ask questions and bring your most pressing life issues to the class.

Come and meet once a month at the Wellness Room, where you will attend a private meditation session led by Karine. The first 10 minutes will be guided meditation, and the rest of the session (approximately another 15-20 minutes will be conducted in silence, using the Primordial Sound Mantra you were given when you took your second Meditation (PSM) class. If you do not have a PSM, you must have taken the first Meditation class to attend this series. Meditation Series

As part of the Chopra signature services, most start with a grounding; a settling down of the body and the senses. Whether we are moving into a coaching session, or mediation session, Whole-Person Care means we are addressing the needs of your whole person; your body, mind and spirit.

Grounding involves being seated, while Karine guides you through a mindful path addressing an intention set before the session. All to often our souls have the answers we are seeking but in this noisy and chaotic world, the signal gets drowned out. Grounding allows us to learn how to hear our own inner voice. Meditation Class 4: Ritualizing Your Self-Care

This 1-hour and 30-minute session is designed for all clients and is offered live, in-person, or via video chat with a recording of the session.


At the very start of your first session, I will introduce you to the origins, purpose, benefits, and mechanics of Primordial Sound Meditation as well as the science behind the technique. We will spend some time getting comfortable with the structure and you will be able to ask questions before beginning. This is your first step into self-care and wellness. This is what drew you here- intuition.

Meditation Class 1: Fundamentals

This is a private ceremony intended for anyone who has taken Class 1. You will receive your personal instruction in your Primordial Sound Mantra (PSM). This mantra is calculated using a vedic astrology computation and personalized on a document presented during the ceremony. You will try meditation for the first time using your Primordial Sound Mantra.

The class is about an hour to an hour and half long and all you need to bring is yourself.

Meditation Class 2: Receiving Your Mantra

In Class 3, you will learn the practical aspects of meditation, share your experience, receive answers to questions, and meditate with your instructor. You will also learn about the Ayurvedic lifestyle and cultivating the ethical and moral codes in building a life centered around God and healthy living.

Meditation Class 3: Higher States of Consciousness

We are not taught how to care for ourselves as a societal norm. Yes, some of us are taught some basics, personal hygiene, basic nutrition, and maybe how to make friends. If you are lucky you had parents who taught you how to deal with your emotions. Most of us have been hurled into this world coming face to face with trauma on a consistent basis. We step from relationship to relationship, whether romantic or interpersonal as if we were throwing darts in the dark.


This class is designed for those who have taken the meditation curriculum and have now experienced the cosmic synergy of being on the same wave with the Universe. Synchronicity is commonplace for you now. But what to do with it?

Let’s see what it looks like when the Universe winks at you, and you wink back.

Meditation Class 5: The Return

Deepen your practice of meditation. Come join Karine twice a month for a guided meditation (grounding) and silent meditation or "Mend-itation" as she likes to call it.


In these 45 minutes, your mind will enjoy a state of restful awareness and the opportunity to set intentions for your life with accountability. If you have never taken a meditation class, consider taking our first two meditation class series so you can come to the class knowing how to meditate and having your own personal Primordial Sound Mantra. Then, you won't be looking around wondering what everyone else is doing so quietly.


We will start with grounding for about 10 minutes and end with meditation for about 20 minutes.

This class is suggested for everyone ages 12 to 100. All are welcome. It meets twice a month, and your paid fee covers both sessions.

Ujjayi means “to be victorious” or “to gain mastery.” This gentle, rhythmic breath produces a pleasant, soothing sound–similar to the sound of ocean waves rolling in and out.

The benefits of Ujjayi breathing include:

Pranayama: Breath Awareness On The Back

Excellent for decreasing an imbalanced Kapha dosha. This breath increases Pitta and Vata and, in some cases, when performed with exuberance, can light a fireplace. No, I was kidding about that last part. But you do act like a furnace for your metabolism, heating it up to devour any unused energy that’s just loafing around, making itself unuseful with expansion.

Pranayama: Bhastrika (Bellows Breath)
Recommended for All Dosha Types; Particularly Good For Balancing Vata and Kapha Known as Relaxing Breath, Nadi Shodhana helps balance both sides of the brain and body and removes emotional blockages in the body, which in return creates a calm and peaceful mind. Pranayama: Darth Vader Breath

An excellent breathing technique to increase Pitta dosha and decrease Kapha and Vata. Oh, yes! We start heating up the body with this 3-part breathwork while we engage jalandhara bandha (chin lock) and mula bandha (root lock). We are not letting any energy escape with this technique. Pranayama: Dirgha (3-Part Breath)
During this instructional session, you will learn how to focus the breath to sound like a bee and focus the mind on the ajna, the sixth chakra, located between the eyebrows. This sound and exhale emphasis helps to downregulate the nervous system to create calm. The vibrational humming sound that this breathwork creates mimics the cosmic sound of “om,” which is a deeply sacred and meaningful syllable to yogis. We are calling this “Trauma-Informed Yoga.”

My mentor, Dr. Suhas Kshirsagar lovingly calls what I do "Bionic Yoga." He chuckles when he says it because of all the hardware in my back.

You might just be a Vata dosha.

Centering through breathwork and meditation, the Vata Balancing Flow invites participants to ground themselves in the present moment and connect with their inner calm. A gentle warm-up prepares the body for the transformative journey ahead, focusing on awakening the joints and releasing tension.

Pitta Balancing Yoga More intense asanas but not too much to keep our Pittas in the game but just enough so they don’t go over the edge! Are you the intense one in the relationship? Find yourself in 'fire and forget' moments? Eat like you are starving and challenge everyone you know to a duel? You just might have a Pitta dosha.

Centering through breathwork and meditation, the Pitta Balancing Flow invites participants to connect with their inner fire and find a sense of tranquility. A gentle warm-up prepares the body for the transformative journey ahead, focusing on balancing the energies and releasing excess heat.

Kapha Yoga Movement for those who find moving difficult (just like Kariné). Do you love your sleep? I mean seriously, like you do you really, really love your sleep? Of course, you do, Kaphas are the best and we know it. Look at food and you gain weight? Trustworthy? Honest? Loyal? Yeah, I've got your number. Come join us to get moving when it is so easy to just stay sleeping. You know you need to. Also, if you get the a$$ during class and don't want to move, you are allowed to sit there and be grumpy about the fact that you know you need to move and everyone is moving and you don't want to. I've got spaces reserved for people exactly like you.

Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra, often translated as "yogic sleep," is a powerful meditation and relaxation technique that guides practitioners into a state of conscious awareness between wakefulness and sleep. This is known as the hypnogogic state. 

Rooted in ancient yogic wisdom, Yoga Nidra is a systematic practice that induces deep relaxation in both the physical body and the mind. During a session, participants lie down in a comfortable position and are led through a series of guided instructions designed to progressively relax different parts of the body in a specific sequence, and access a state of profound inner stillness and healing. When we practice Yoga Nidra, we move through the last four limbs of yoga: Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana, and Samadhi.

Yoga Nidra can be used to help you fall asleep, although the true function of it is to allow yourself to remain awake but deeply relaxed. This allows us to explore the subconscious and unconscious realms, release physical, mental, and emotional tension, and access insights that might be hidden in the noise of daily life.
