The doctor goes over your images with you, explaining ocular conditions such as Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, and Diabetic Retinopathy. They indicate if there are any concerns with your eyes and what to watch for in the future. (Same day dilation included if required)

A Myopia Screening eye examination for children 19 years or under includes all tests done on the complete eye examination but also includes Axial Length measurements to identify risk factors for myopia and the serious health problems it can cause later in life. It will help the doctor to determine if treatment could be beneficial for your child.

The doctor then evaluates the vision and health of your eyes using additional equipment in the examination room and dilating your eyes. A final prescription is issued at the end of the exam.

Routine eye exams are covered for OHIP Insured seniors (65 and over) once every 18 months (over 548 days from last ohip covered exam) with a valid Ontario health card.

A final prescription is issued at the end of the exam.
Routine eye exams are covered for kids (19 and under) once a year (over 365 days from last ohip covered exam) with a valid Ontario health card.
